Two cautions specific to this product. It contains three mineral salts — calcium, magnesium and sodium — in amounts the manufacturer does not publish. That matters if you are on a sodium-restricted diet, take a diuretic, have reduced kidney function or heart failure, or already take a calcium or magnesium supplement; ask the seller for the Supplement Facts panel and show it to a doctor first. And the label's "GLP-1 Advanced Support*" wording is a structure-function claim, not a statement that this product contains, acts as, or substitutes for any prescription medicine. Decisions about prescription weight-management treatment belong with a doctor.
Dietary supplements are regulated differently
In the United States, dietary supplements are not subject to the pre-market approval process that applies to pharmaceutical drugs. The FDA does not approve dietary supplements for safety or effectiveness before they are sold. Any badge or claim suggesting a supplement is "FDA approved" is inaccurate — what a manufacturer can legitimately state is that a product is made in an FDA-registered facility, which is a statement about the premises, not about the product.
